SIMULACRO DE READING EXAMEN SLP 2 INGLÉS (1)

Iniciamos un bloque de entrenamiento enfocado en superar con éxito la prueba de comprensión de textos para obtener el perfil SLP 2222 (Nivel Funcional), regulado por la normativa STANAG 6001 de la OTAN. En el examen SLP de inglés y en los procesos selectivos del Ministerio de Defensa, la agilidad en la lectura comprensiva determina en gran medida el resultado final de tu oposición, ya sea para la obtención del SLP 2 o para el acceso directo o la promoción interna a las escalas de Oficiales y Suboficiales. Esta preparación es igualmente crucial para el personal de la Guardia Civil y la escala de Tropa y Marinería que busca asegurar su apto en las dos convocatorias oficiales del examen SLP 2 que se realizan cada año. Hoy os acerco un simulacro de examen de Reading del SLP de diseño propio que incluye 14 textos cortos acompañados de sus correspondientes preguntas de opción múltiple. Este test constituye una herramienta excelente y gratuita para evaluar vuestro nivel de partida, fijar vocabulario técnico de rango B2 y asimilar las dinámicas de examen impuestas por el tribunal militar. 1. Directrices Técnicas de la Prueba de comprensión de textos (Reading) del SLP

Para que este simulacro sea realmente efectivo, os recomiendo realizarlo recreando las condiciones de juego que os impondrá el tribunal militar:

  • Extensión de la prueba: Recordad que el examen oficial consta de un volumen total de 30 textos independientes, el doble de los que practicaremos en este bloque inicial. Cada pregunta viene acompañada de cuatro opciones de respuesta de las cuales solo una es la correcta.
  • Gasto de tiempo: El tribunal concede un límite estricto de 60 minutos para responder todo el cuadernillo. Esto os obliga a mantener un ritmo constante de resolución, dedicando un máximo de 2 minutos por lectura.
  • Gestión del error: En el sistema de corrección del SLP, los fallos no restan puntos. Dejar casillas vacías es un error estratégico grave. Si os veis apurados de tiempo en alguna pregunta, recurrid a la deducción lógica o al descarte inmediato de las opciones menos viables.

2. Recomendaciones Pedagógicas para Opositores

Los textos del nivel funcional abarcan temáticas muy diversas (actualidad, naturaleza, viajes, avances técnicos o entornos profesionales). Para optimizar vuestro rendimiento de cara a la convocatoria, os aconsejo realizar lecturas diarias en inglés complementadas con el uso del diccionario. Vuestro objetivo principal debe ser entrenar el oído y la vista para:

  • Leer primero la pregunta: es un consejo muy útil para ganar tiempo ya que a veces no es necesario leer el texto completo ya que encontramos la respuesta antes del final del mismo.
  • Localizar Sinónimos (Paráfrasis): El tribunal suele redactar la opción correcta usando palabras distintas a las del texto original para comprobar que entendéis el fondo del mensaje.
  • Ignorar Información Secundaria: No os detengáis en palabras técnicas irrelevantes; buscad siempre el núcleo argumental que da respuesta directa a la pregunta planteada.

Al final del ejercicio disponéis de las respuestas correctas junto con un desglose explicativo de cada opción para que podáis analizar vuestros aciertos y corregir los errores de interpretación. ¡Mucho éxito en las pautas de estudio!
